DLIT are pleased to announce some exciting changes to our business!

After 9 years at our old site in Southmead, we have in July moved to premises in Avonmouth. We are in a shiny new office in a shared building, and the neighbours are very friendly! Having started from a conservatory and then a garden shed at the original MD’s home in 2002, we’ve come a long way to our new 149m2 offices.

We are also excited to announce that our Technical Director, Ray Abrahams is now our new Managing Director, and will be supported by Wayne Russe as our new Technical Director. Dave Lewis who has been MD since our inception, is now our presiding Chairman.

Moving us forward into the new era of DLIT, we have invested in a new integrated system called Connectwise which links tickets, emails, calendars, licenses, subscriptions, stock and billing into one. This software is designed specifically for IT support businesses and helps us to provide the most efficient and cost-effective service we can to our valued clients.

DLIT are a Bristol-based IT support company with over 120 diverse clients grown organically since 2002; mostly through recommendation. See what our customers think of us!

We would love to welcome our clients to see us in our new home; if you would like to pop by please just contact Helen on helen@dlitsolutions.co.uk so we know to expect you.

Lastly, we’d like to wish Dave, Ray and Wayne our very best wishes in their new roles.

What is an SSL Certificate and why do I need one?

Put simply, SSL Certificates are an integral part of your email solution. The certificates certify your domain as a known and trusted source to end-user devices. Without this certificate email connectivity would be interrupted.

Ransomware Warning – how do I protect myself?

With hackers finding ever more sneaky ways of getting at your data, whether to sell it on or hold you to ransom, we can’t stress how important it is to keep your anti-virus up to date and be vigilant about suspicious emails.

What to do if you don’t want Windows 10 on your machine

What to do if you don’t want Windows 10 on your machine?

Never 10 is a new freeware tool which aims to prevent Windows 7 and Windows 8.x systems from automatically updating to Windows 10. Sounds like a host of other recent update-blockers, we thought — but no. It’s more interesting than that.
